We believe healthy hives come first! Our beekeeping practices are rooted in respect for our honeybees colonies, prioritizing their well-being over maximizing honey production. Each jar of Hokestead Honey is a natural gift—collected only when the hives are thriving and the bees have what they need to flourish through every season. The result is a honey that’s as pure and raw as it is purposeful! 

Raw honey hasn't been heated, pasteurized, or heavily processed. After it is taken from the hive, it is lightly strained to remove wax and debris, but is otherwise left in its natural state. Therefore, our honey retains its natural enzymes that support digestion and overall wellness; retains pollen which is valued for its potential health benefits; and holds onto its flavor complexity since it hasn't been exposed to heat that can dull the taste.
